New Santa Elena and San Ignacio Town Council

The San Ignacio and Santa Elena Town council had just inaugurated the new Town Hall building located in San Ignacio near Belize rental property for sale.In 2016 the prior San Ignacio and Santa Elena Town Hall building was marked unfit for tenancy as the building has deteriorated over the years.

As a result, to this the office was reallocated to a two-storybuilding located across from the Police station in San Ignacio formerly San Ignacio Commercial Building near other Belize real estate rentals.This location was temporary as the construction of the New Town council was built.


On December 13 2017 the Inauguration of the new San Ignacio and Santa Elena Town Hall took place. The new Town Hall is a three-story building located adjacent to Falcon Field in San Ignacio town. But not only the town hall was inaugurated as the opening of the San Ignacio and Santa Elena House of Culture (NICH) also took place and stand where the San Ignacio Hospital once was. Both of these building are just a few minutes from unique Belizerental property for sale

The inauguration started off with the singing of Belize National Anthem and entertainment was provided by a marimba group called Los Hijos del West from Benque Viejo which is the town located just 45 minutes away from better in Belize vacation house rentals. Other entertainment was from the Saint Ignatius High School.  Different people gave their speech that day as did the San Ignacio and Santa Elena Mayor Earl Trapp.

The new Santa Elena and San Ignacio Town Hall near Belize home rentals will not only benefit the town council but also the Government of Belize as they will be using some of the space for government offices which in return will be generating revenue for the town council.
