To make this delicious recipe you will need: 2 pounds flour, ¼ pound shortening, 2 tbsp. baking powder  , 2 Cups Coconut milk and 1tsp salt. 

Method:
  1. Place flour, baking powder and salt in a bowl and combine in your belize vacation rental kitchen.
  2. Add shortening and mix with fingers.
  3. Gently pour enough milk and mix together to make nice dough.
  4. Knead dough until smooth.
  5. *Ensure not to over mix and over smooth dough since it’s not for making bread.
  6. Cut into about 20 small pieces and form the pieces into balls.
  7. Flatten each ball to a thickness of ½ inch.
  8. Place each ball into a greased baking sheet
  9. Bake at 350 degrees F for about 20 minutes or just until bottoms are browned nicely.
  10. Turn on broiler and cook until top are golden browned.
