Bread fruit or masa pan as known in Spanish is one of Belizehuge tropical fruiting tree that grow throughout Belize property.It is related to the other tropical fruits such as jackfruit, breadnut, figs, and mulberries. The very large evergreen tree has large thick leaves that look feathery like and gives of milky-white sap which is produced on all parts of the tree. The fruit varies in color, size, and shape with smooth, off-white to cream color flesh and spikes like peel.


The bread fruit can be eaten either as a fruit when it is ripe or as a vegetable when it is green and can be found at the local market stalls not far from beautiful homes for sale in Belize.
